Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: October 2026
O’Leary Landscaping & Irrigation is committed to making olearylandscaping.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the experience for all visitors.
Our Goal
We aim to meet the
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have mobility, cognitive, or other disabilities.
Current Status
This website
partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to fix the issues listed below.
What We Have Done
- Set the page language so screen readers pronounce content correctly.
- Added text labels to the fields on our contact and payment forms.
- Marked required form fields and shown error messages in text, not color alone.
- Used a layout that adjusts to phones, tablets, and desktop screens and supports browser zoom.
- Avoided auto-playing audio and video.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following issues and are working to address them:
- Image descriptions: some images, including some photos in our project gallery, are missing text descriptions (alt text).
- Icon-only links: some links that use only an icon (such as social media or phone icons) do not yet have a text label for screen readers.
- Page structure: some pages use more than one main heading, and pages do not yet have a “skip to content” link or a main content landmark, which can make keyboard and screen reader navigation slower.
- Links that open new windows: some links, such as those on our Partners page, open in a new tab without warning.
- Online payment form: one field on the Pay Online form is missing a programmatic label.
- Third-party content: the payment processing service and some embedded plugins are provided by third parties, and we cannot fully control their accessibility.
