Our job involved replacing a wooden retaining wall and stairs that were coming apart in an area that slopes steeply downward. For our first appointment, Dan O’Leary came to our home to meet with us and inspect the site. Our next follow up was with his son Sean who prepared and presented the estimate. While their bid was higher than the others I had obtained, Sean’s explanation of the scope of their proposal seemed more appropriate to making a permanent repair. My appreciation of the scope of the project deepened when I spoke with the men doing the work and saw the wall and stairs being constructed. The construction was more involved than I had initially understood. My wife and I are totally satisfied with the completed project. Everyone we dealt with from Dan O’Leary and his son Sean to the office staff and the workman doing the job were professional and pleasant throughout. We would use them for another project and recommend them to others.” R. Comments: “This company was very responsive from the first phone call. We met the same day at the property and talked about my landscaping needs. After sending me the proposal we met again at the property to go over the details and sign the contract. From The first phone call to the day they hydro-seeded took less than three weeks with no phone call ever going unanswered. Even after some heavy rain which had washed some of the grass seed away, they were back hydro-seeding within an hour or two of my phone call. They will be back after the winter to over-seed any bare spots and edge the lawn. I feel their customer service and responsiveness went above and beyond, and would absolutely use them again.”  F. Description Of Work: Prepared yard for new lawn, grading, Hydro Seeding and complete irrigation system installation.

Comments: “The O’Leary crew arrived early on the day they said they would start. They removed six inches of old turf then graded the property with six inches (more where needed) of loam. They installed a complete irrigation system with some of the best equipment available to the home owner (I researched everything). The water hook up was done to code by a licensed plumber. They then returned to hydro seen and set the controls and the sprinkler heads. The whole job was completed in two days. It’s been eight days and I can see grass coming up on the entire lawn. Every O’Leary employee was professional and very courteous. The owner, Dan O’Leary explained every detail to my complete satisfaction. Their quote stated that six inches of loam would be put down to prepare for hydro seeding and ensure proper grading. There were more than a few places on my yard where there was a lot more than six inches put down. They did a very professional job. The O’Leary landscaping company is in the town next to mine. During my research I drove into the lot that they are on to take a quick look at their operation. It was late on a Friday and they were power washing all of their equipment. The lot was full of clean and what seemed to me to be well maintained equipment. This was important to me and helped me to make up my mind and trust them with my new lawn. We now plan on using O’Leary to maintain our new lawn.
